Contienen el fitoqu\u00edmico caroteno. Ayudan a tener una buena cicatrizaci\u00f3n, mantener una piel joven y refuerzan nuestro sistema inmunitario. Protegen contra algunos tipos de c\u00e1ncer, ayudan a la vista (especialmente la visi\u00f3n nocturna) y mantienen el coraz\u00f3n sano, el pigmento anaranjado de estos alimentos es un gran antioxidante.<\/p>\n<p>Los alimentos de color naranja claro tienen tambi\u00e9n flavonoides, un componente con propiedades antiv\u00edricas, antiinflamatorias, antihistam\u00ednicas y antioxidantes. Son tambi\u00e9n ricos en potasio. Son muy beneficiosas para el sistema circulatorio. Previenen las enfermedades cardiovasculares, regulan la presi\u00f3n sangu\u00ednea, reducen el colesterol y adem\u00e1s previenen la diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Los alimentos de este grupo incluyen los pl\u00e1tanos, las peras, los d\u00e1tiles, los melocotones y nectarinas blancas, la coliflor, el ajo, el jenjibre, los champi\u00f1ones, las cebollas, las patatas (de color blanco), la cebolleta y el nabo.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>\u25baAlimentos de color verde:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Su color verde se debe a la presencia de la <strong>clorofila<\/strong> y en algunos casos a los glucosinolatos. Las hojas verdes, tienen un alto contenido de <strong>hierro, \u00e1cido f\u00f3lico, vitamina C<\/strong> y nutrientes que fortalecen nuestro sistema inmune.<\/p>\n<p>Los alimentos de color verde tambi\u00e9n son ricos en lute\u00edna, potasio y vitaminas K.
